"To promote broad success, we must enable undergraduate and graduate students from all backgrounds to thrive at Rice, including supporting access to the full range of Rice experiences and opportunities." Vision for the Second Century, Second Decade
Rice Access & Opportunity Portal
Navigate the Portal to learn more about the resources available to make the Rice community open and accessible to all undergraduate students, including requests for financial support. Begin by learning more about the different sources of financial support, items and experiences that may be considered for funding, and the procedures associated with making a financial request.
There are three types of funding that undergraduates may request: 1) Non-Emergency funding through their Residential College Accessibility Funds, 2) Non-Emergency Funding through the Rice Access and Opportunity Portal for financial support of academic, social, and professional opportunities, and 3) Emergency Funding through the Dean of Undergraduates reserved for the most pressing and urgent needs requiring immediate action. See below for more details on each type of request.
